Cookies Policy
A cookie is a small file your browser stores per visited site. Here is everything that Miss Julia Casinos sets or causes to be set, what it does, and how to manage it.
Cookie inventory
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
mjc_theme | Stores any dark/light theme preference if you toggle it | 1 year | First-party (this site) |
mjc_banner_dismissed | Remembers that you've dismissed the responsible-gambling banner | 30 days | First-party (this site) |
__cf_bm | Cloudflare bot management — distinguishes humans from automated crawlers | 30 minutes (session) | Cloudflare (CDN/edge) |
cf_clearance | Cloudflare challenge clearance (only set if you triggered a challenge) | 1 hour | Cloudflare |
Operator attribution cookie (e.g. aff_*, bta, campaign) | Set by the destination operator when you click an outbound affiliate link, so they can credit the signup to Miss Julia Casinos | 30–90 days depending on operator | Third-party — set by the operator at the moment you click through |
Cookies we do NOT use
Miss Julia Casinos does NOT use cross-site advertising-network cookies (no Google Ads, no Meta Pixel, no Outbrain), social-network embed cookies (no Facebook/Twitter share-button trackers), analytics cookies (Cloudflare Analytics is cookieless), or any third-party fingerprinting script.
Affiliate attribution — the detail
The only third-party cookies you may pick up via this site are dropped by the operator you click through to, not by us. They typically last 30–90 days and are scoped to the operator's domain. If you don't register with the operator within that window the cookie expires and no information passes back to us. This is the standard mechanic that lets the operator pay us a commission when a referred player signs up. The operator's privacy policy is the binding document once you leave our site.
Disabling cookies
You can disable or clear cookies in your browser at any time. The site remains fully readable without them; the only thing you lose is the "I've dismissed this banner" memory.
- Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies → Block.
- Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Enhanced Tracking Protection → Strict.
- Safari — Settings → Privacy → Block all cookies.
- Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data.
If you want a quick wipe, every browser also supports clearing cookies for a specific site (right-click in the address bar / hamburger menu in mobile).
